Ariel C. Johnson is Senior Counsel and specializes with the Firm practicing in commercial litigation.
Ariel graduated from Brigham Young University (“BYU”) in 2009 with a B.S. degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development, and a minor in Spanish. While there, Ariel sang with BYU’s world-renowned a cappella group, Vocal Point, performing for tens of thousands of people across the United States. He attended the University of Nebraska College of Law (“UNL”) where he graduated in 2013. While attending law school, Ariel provided free legal services as part of UNL’s Civil Law Clinic, represented dozens of individuals with severe mental illness before the Mental Health Board in Lancaster County, Nebraska, while clerking for Public Defender’s Office, and served as President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. He also carried the title of Student Ambassador in law school which allowed him to travel to different states to recruit new law students to UNL.
Upon graduating from law school, Ariel moved to Las Vegas to begin his legal career working in construction defect and liability defense litigation. His creativity in solving problems and knack for building relationships quickly led to him open and manage Fred Loya Insurance Company’s first Nevada in-house legal office, where he handled all facets of the company’s personal injury defense litigation. By the time he left, the office had grown to a dozen employees and was simultaneously handling hundreds of cases. Ariel now specializes in commercial litigation, assisting each client to efficiently navigate the often-complex legal process. His level-headed approach and attention to detail consistently produce positive results.
Ariel and his wife, Sarah, are the proud parents of three redheaded children. When he is not working, Ariel enjoys serving on the Board of Directors for Signature Productions—Las Vegas’ premier family-friendly theater production company—performing on stage, making new friends, serving in his church, and hanging out with his family.
