BIOGRAPHY

Charles T. Cook is of counsel with Hutchison & Steffen. He is an experienced Nevada attorney, having practiced in Las Vegas since 1984. Charles has earned the distinguished AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, and his practice focuses primarily on real estate transactions, title insurance and escrow law, as well as litigation related to those areas.

Prior to returning to private law practice in 2003, Charles was an in-house, corporate attorney and served as General Counsel to Nevada Title Company, Nevada Construction Services, and Westcor Land Title Insurance Company. Charles is a former President of the Nevada Land Title Association and has been a speaker on various topics related to real estate title and transactions. Charles is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Nevada and is one of the authors and editors of the Nevada Real Property Practice and Procedure Manual published by the State Bar of Nevada.
