BIOGRAPHY

John T. Moran, III, is a partner with the Firm. His practice focuses on government affairs, legislation, and regulatory projects, and he represents clients with gaming matters in the United States and other international jurisdictions. John’s experience encompasses the gaming industry, from gaming operations to regulatory matters. His practice includes those related to land-based gaming, internet gaming, and the manufacture and distribution of gaming equipment.

John represents private and government clients before various State and local government agencies, including the Nevada Legislature, city councils, county commissions, State Gaming Agencies, and various other political subdivisions, including lobbying and administrative hearings.

Prior to joining the Firm, John served as legal counsel for a host of leading gaming companies. John served a six-year term as an elected member to Nevada’s Board of Regents, the entity governing Nevada’s System of Higher Education, setting policy and approving budgets for Nevada’s entire public system of higher education. He is currently serving as a Member of the State of Nevada Ethics Commission as a gubernatorial appointee. This Commission is tasked with interpretation and enforcement of the provisions of Ethics in Government Law set forth in Nevada Revised Statutes.
