Firm Partner Michael R. Brooks was elected President of the Founders Classical Academy of Las Vegas Board of Directors. Founders Classical Academy is a Nevada State Charter School providing tuition-free education to train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through a rigorous, classical education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue.

For the second time in her career, Firm Partner Shannon Wilson has won the Louis Wiener Pro Bono Service Award from the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada for her exceptional time commitment and zealous advocacy in a contentious family law matter that still continues on. The award is given yearly in memory of Louis Wiener for his dedication in helping victims of domestic violence, and honors someone who has made substantial contributions in representing victims. Congratulations, Shannon!

Firm Attorney Michael Falater was recently appointed to the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center Foundation. The foundation supports the Southern Nevada Children’s Advocacy Center, which provides services to abused children. Congrats, Michael!
