Shannon Wilson and Jennifer Willis continue to have success in a long-running and highly contentious guardianship matter. The trial was on the protected person’s request to terminate the guardianship and the Guardian’s request to relocate the protected person to assisted living in California. In April the Court denied the request to terminate the guardianship and granted our client’s petition to relocate his mother to assisted living in California. The protected person appealed those decisions and filed a motion to stay pending conclusion of the appeal. Ultimately, the District Court denied the protected person’s motion to stay.
