BIOGRAPHY

Heather Caliguire Fleming is a Senior Associate with Hutchison & Steffen, practicing primarily in the Firm’s healthcare practice group. Heather has an extensive background in civil litigation, having practiced in both business litigation and insurance defense. Heather has been representing clients in all Courts in Nevada, including the Federal District Court of Nevada, from small claims through Nevada’s Appellate Courts. Heather has also represented clients before administrative boards, such as the Nevada Contractors Board.

Heather graduated in the top third of her class from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she received a Cali award for Contracts and was awarded a Dean’s award for service to the school. While at Boyd, Heather was the president of the Public Interest Law Association, the Marshal for the Wiener Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, and a member of the Nevada Law Journal.

Prior to law school, Heather obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from UNLV, focusing on set design. After graduating with her MFA, Heather worked on movies and commercials, as well as theatre, before deciding to follow a path into law.

In her free time, Heather and her husband enjoy spending time with their pets and taking vacations.
