Erin L. Morgan is a senior associate practicing primarily in the Firm’s appellate group and handling general business litigation matters.
Born and raised in Reno, Erin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. She graduated cum laude from Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia. During law school, Erin served as the Eleventh Circuit Survey Editor for the Mercer Law Review. She also was a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where she gained valuable exposure to federal district court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Upon graduating from law school, Erin returned to Reno to clerk for the Honorable Bridget E. Robb in the Second Judicial District Court. Thereafter, Erin served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, where she was awarded Rookie of the Year. Prior to joining Hutchison & Steffen, Erin served as a Washoe County Deputy District Attorney in the Civil Division. Erin has litigated civil matters in state and federal district court. She has briefed and argued matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Nevada Supreme Court.
In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
