Daniel J. Klett is Senior Counsel at Hutchison & Steffen, focusing his practice on civil litigation, general liability, business law, and insurance defense. Daniel has been described as having a rare ability to approach a complex, unfamiliar issue, master it, and then produce cogent work product on the issue. His clients can trust his proactive problem solving to find workable solutions in the most efficient way possible.
Daniel attended Webster University for undergrad, earning a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Information Systems, before continuing on to be a Flight Officer in the United States Navy. He completed Officer Candidate School, Aviation Preflight Indoctrination, Basic Officer Leadership Training Course, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) school. This training prepared him for team leadership, staying calm under pressure, and a sense of justice to fight for what is right.
As a prior Naval officer, he embraces the Navy core values of honor, courage, and commitment. While in the Navy, he operated the advanced systems onboard various naval aircraft, including operation of navigation, communications, radar, and other “back end” systems.
After completing his Naval career, Daniel earned a Master’s Degree in Gaming Law and Regulation (LLM) from the University of Nevada Las Vegas Boyd School of Law. While in the Gaming Law program, he interned for Board Member Johnson of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, where he gained invaluable knowledge as to the inner workings of the gaming industry while getting firsthand executive experience in the world of administrative law.
When not in the office, Daniel enjoys reading and traveling. He has visited numerous countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, French Polynesia, and the Caribbean. Daniel also enjoys skydiving and scuba diving.
