Biography

Christian F. McKinnon is an associate with the Firm and practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate law, business law, employment and labor law, and contract disputes.

Christian graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV where he focused on pretrial litigation and discovery techniques. In his second year, Christian completed an externship with the Honorable Judge Timothy C. Williams and gained valuable experience in managing a courtroom. He also spent a summer working with the Utah Division of Securities investigating securities fraud. As a law student, he received an "Outstanding Student Teacher" award while teaching a course to help the public navigate the small claims court process. Christian was an active member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.

He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. While at Utah State, Christian worked as a sportswriter for the Utah Statesman, the student newspaper, primarily covering the men's basketball team. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, spending time with his wife, and reading.
