Tyson D. League is an associate with Hutchison & Steffen, practicing primarily in the Firm’s Litigation Group. Prior to joining the Firm, Tyson spent his career as a prosecutor in both Carson City and Washoe County. As a prosecutor, he was charged with handling felony-level cases involving the most significant criminal penalties available in the State. He has secured convictions on numerous felony cases, including murder and sex trafficking of children.
Throughout his career, he has handled an extraordinary number of matters before the Courts, such as preliminary hearings, bench trials, and jury trials. His experience has brought him extensive knowledge of the litigation process. Having argued numerous adversarial matters before the Courts of Nevada, including oral arguments before the Nevada Supreme Court, he has a comfort level before the Court that is only built through experience.
Tyson came to Nevada from Southern California following his graduation from Whittier Law School. He is licensed in both Nevada and California (California currently inactive). Prior to law school, Tyson graduated from Chapman University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He has always had a significant interest in politics and the function of government.
In his free time, Tyson is an avid trail runner, golfer, foodie, and aspiring traveler.
